It's Saturday and I am ecstatic!

Plaid shirt- GAP (the boyfs shirt :D)
Tank- Urban Outfitters
Jeans- American Eagle Outfitters
Boots- Dr Martens, 1460 vegan boot
Belt & Socks- H&M

Just ended my first week at my new office job and whoo, that was a lot to take in. I survived and now it's time for the weekend! Having to wear "business attire" to work is really cramping my personal style, so I'm so glad I'm able to wear what I want on the weekends.
I started out with my boyfriends plaid shirt from the GAP. I LOVE this shirt, it's so comfortable and cozy & always smells like him. I wanted to mix some prints so I added a camouflage tank underneath.

Oh how I missed wearing jeans. For today's look I wanted something fitted and classic since I'm wearing something loose and kinda funky on top. I went with these vintage wash jeggings from AEO. These are the best jeans ever! They hug in all the right places are are the perfect length. Definitely recommend for any curvy girls looking for good skinny jeans. Paired them with my favorite burgundy belt from H&M.

Boots! It's finally that time of year when boots can be an everyday thing. For today's look I wanted to wear my vegan Docs. I could live in these boots forever. Because they're vegan, they're super soft straight out of the box (so no blisters trying to break them in). They have this candied apple color that literally goes with everything. They make me feel like a badass (haha). I paired them with my favorite ruffle socks from H&M.

And there you have it. My "weekends are the best because I can wear what I want" ootd. What are you wearing?

Blue skies smiling at me :)

Cardigan & top- H&M
Short- American Apparel cutoffs (cut by myself :))
Knee Highs- Urban Outfitters
Boots- Vegan Dr Martens, 1460 boot

The weather has SO perfect these past few days. It's that kind of weather whee you can wear whatever you want an still feel comfortable. For today's look I wanted to add little elements of summer and fall since we're still in transition between those two seasons. I started off with my cutoff shorts from American Apparel. I love these shorts because they're truly high waisted pants; I also love that, since I cut them myself, the length is appropriate for any occasion since you can roll the cuff up or down.

I will only wear crop tops with these shorts! They're the perfect way to accentuate the waist. For today's look I chose this razor back crop tank from H&M. This tank is super comfy & has cut neon yellow accents at the seams. I love that it's super fitted because I don't have to wear a bra with it, haha (braless hippies UNITE!). I threw this grey knit cardigan from H&M over because its a little chilly and to add my first fall element to the look.

For my foot wear of the day, I wanted to wear my new vegan Dr Martens. I love love love these boots because the material they used to make them (synthetic leather) is super soft so breaking them in was a breeze. I also love the candied apple finish they've got going on. I paired these with my black knee highs because 1. like I said, it's chilly, 2. wearing low socks with docs causes rubbing and it hurts and it's just not fun and 3. to add another fall element to my look.

And there you have it. My summer meets fall outfit of the day. What are you wearing?

Labor Day ... So why am I working?

Top- H&M
Jeans- American Eagle Outfitters
Shoes- Keds
Accessories- Rainbow loom bracelets!

Today is Labor Day; which means nothing to me because I still have to work; but at least I get time and a half (haha). So for today look I wanted something light weight & comfortable because the weather has been so crappy. Think gray skies with massive amounts of humidity with no breeze.
I started out with this super light weight top from H&M. I love that this top has this water color/tie dye thing going on that kind of makes it look like the gloomy gray skies we've been having. The flowy fabric allows for breathability which is perfect for days like today when the humidity can be suffocating.

I'm so tried of shorts I can't even begin to explain it; So although it's pretty hot, I decided to wear jeans. I chose my black stone wash destroyed jeggings from AEO. I love these jeans because they're so soft and comfortable it (almost) feels like you're not wearing pants. The rips in them also allows air to flow through which is good enough for me. I rolled the cuffs up for a more cropped/warm weather look.

As you know, I love to add pops of color, mix prints, color block, etc. So for my footwear of the day I chose my colorful floral Keds. These are a cute twist and the classic shoe. They're really comfortable, perfect for someone who's on their feet all day like me. I also like how they contrast with my gloomy sky top and add a bit of summer to my otherwise monochromatic outfit.

I spent the day with my Dad & my siblings yesterday and my brother and I made a TON of Rainbow Loom bracelets. My sisters friend also made me this super cute complicated one that I could t even begin to tell to the name of. I decided to throw some on today to add some more color. I also have on my friendship bracelet (of course).

And there you have it. My Labor Day ootd. What are you wearing?

A little bit of everything

Top- Vintage (bought off Poshmark)
Short- American Eagle Outfitters
Sneakers- Vans 106 hi (flowers drawn on by me)

The weather has been so on and off lately, I don't even know what to wear anymore; so for today's look I just threw everything on together.

I started off with this light weight, vintage stripped top I bought from Poshmark. I love this top because its more of a cream color as opposed to white. I also love the drapey light weight fabric; makes it perfect for cool summer nights as well as warm fall days. The vertical stripes are very slimming as well.

I love the look of black & white (or cream) stripped shirts with colored pants. For my bottoms today, I chose these wine colored distressed festival shorties from AEO. These shorts are awesome for us big booty Judys with short legs because they're cut longer on front and back, and shorter up the sides giving you the appearance of longer legs while still covering you up (cheeks out is NOT a good look ladies!)

If its not funky, it's not fun, so I wanted to add some fun to my outfit with these hi top Vans 106's. this is a really cute hi top sneaker that doesn't make your feet look bulky or chunky. I drew the yellow & orange sunflowers/daisies on myself. I love the way these look with the wine shorts and how they contrast with the strips on the top. Have fun with your outfits, playing it safe leaves everyone sorry!

And there you have it. My mixy outfit of the day. What are you wearing?

Floral peplums and chucks

Top- American Eagle Outfitters
Jeans- GAP classic straight
Sneakers- Converse All Stars (Chuck Taylor's)

Another gloomy rainy day. I decided for today's look I wanted to wear something that was a little girly and summery. I started out with this cute, sheer, floral print peplum top from AEO. I love this top because of floral & zip back details. It's one of those things that can be dressed up or down and the perfect transition into "girly" attire.

For my bottom, I wanted something really simple and basic; so that the top could be the forerunner of the outfit. I chose my classic straight jeans from the GAP. These are the most comfortable low rise jeans I own. They don't bunch or pinch. The dark blue ink wash is super flattering and goes with literally anything. I just cuff up the hems to make it more warm weather appropriate.

For my footwear of the day, I threw on my trusty blue Converse All Stars. These are one of my favorite pairs of shoes! I've had them since 7th grade! They're super comfortable and great for being on my feet all day. In my eyes they go with everything.

So there you have it; my outfit of the day.

Easy on Sunday morning

Entire outfit- American Eagle outfitters

Today was my last official day at American Eagle Outfitters and it was a bit bitter sweet. We had a meeting at 7am, so the first thing I thought when I was picking out my clothes was comfort. The second thing I thought about was what style I wanted to convey today. In the end my hippie boho side won out.
I started out with my long, flowy brunch tank from AEO. It's super soft and comfortable and has an open back. It gives off the most easy going laid back hippie vibes. I added a lace bralette from Aerie underneath since the back is open.

For my bottoms I knew right away I was going to go with my vintage wash Artist jeans, again, from AEO. These jeans have the perfect flair bottoms that aren't too wide and they sit comfortably on the hips. The fading in the thighs give it that worn vintage look and it also makes them really flattering on curvy girls with bigger thighs (like me!). I got them in the shorter length since I have short legs & it hits just at the top of my foot. They're perfect for the hippie boho look I was going for.

Although there's this stigma that black & brown should never be worn together, I feel like you could never go wrong with a pair of brown sandals. My favorites are these studded gladiators from, where else, AEO. These sandals are so comfortable! They're real leather and suede so they keep up with the hippie look as well. I've had these for years & I wear them with everything.

To finish off my look, I added this leather, floral, headband from (surprise, surprise) AEO. I absolutely love this headband because of its neutral colors and the fact that it's a tie on as opposed to elastic. You can tie it to fit exactly how you want so no headaches and no hair getting caught. I also love that it's leather so it'll last me a while.

And that's my easy going, hippie boho, outfit of the day for this Sunday. What are you wearing?

I want a beach day :(

Crop top- American Eagle Outfitters
Skirt- Vintage Express
Sandals- Zara

******************************************

Oh how I wish I was going to the beach, or a pool or somewhere cool & relaxing; but alas, off to work I go. For today's outfit, I wanted to wear something fun & playful but of course, still simple. I started with this floral print vintage Express skirt. The flowers on the skirt have maroon in the middle so it was a perfect tie in to this maroon & white stripped crop tee from my job, American Eagle. This outfit by itself is pretty girly so I added my Zara studded fishermans sandals to add to edge to the look. And there you have it, my outfit for today. What are you guys wearing?
