OMG IM BACK!

Can you believe it?! After months of not posting I finally took some time out to take a few pictures to post! I'm sorry I've been gone for so long; new job, new responsibilities & no time for anything! I'm really going to put in some effort to post more often. Forgive me if I'm a little rusty.

So I'm omw out to run some errands and even though it was snowing yesterday, it's actually really nice out! I decided to do a layered outfit today that way I can add or remove anything if it gets too hot/cold.

For my two tops, I chose a graphic tee & a plaid flannel. This lumber jack look is one of my favorites for snowy weather. It just makes me feel comfortable and cozy and like I could go logging or something, haha. For the tee, I chose this StyleMint "no is a full sentence" tee by MaryKate & Ashley Olsen.

This tee is made of pima cotton and is so, so soft! It's also thin & heavy so it drapes really well over the body making it a good option for all body types. It's also heat here's which gives it a textured look.
This flannel is a men's shirt from AEO and it's one of my favorite flannels (I have a lot). It's loose in all the right places without looking like it's too big. It's warm but light weight so it doesn't make me too hot. It stays true to color wash after wash & maintains it's softness.

I am OBSESSED with American Apparels Easy Jean. It is the perfect high waisted pant for every occasion. I wear them to clubs, raves, to the park, the mall, for holidays, literally everywhere. They're so comfortable and flattering and hug in all the places. Seriously if you don't have a pair GO GET ONE NOW! They're a little pricey ($76 or $78 I forget which) but they're well worth it I promise. You can also get them like half off at the outlet. I plan on getting 7 black pairs; one for everyday of the week lol.

For footwear, I wore my neutral with gold flecks Nike Airmaxes. I bought these from a fellow Poshmark user and I'm so happy I did! They go with everything and are so comfortable! I love the gold flecks, they give the otherwise plain sneaker that pop it needs. These will defintely be my go-to sneaker for a lot of occasions. I paired them with my blue tie-dye socks from H&M for a little extra somethin.

I bought this little "cat" earred beanie from a Japanese boutique online and the "cat" ears looked a little more like devil horns so I decided to call it a devil horn beanie instead. Which incidentally suits me just fine ;)

So that's it guys, my first ootd post in FOREVER! Promise not to be away so long again. Happy Sunday ✌️

Colder weather means chunky sweaters!!

Sweater - Vintage (bought off Poshmark)
Tank - H&M
Jeans - American Eagle Outfitters
Boots - Joe Fresh

(This post has been photo bombed by Marcus Medley)

Fall hasn't even started yet and it's already getting cold out! I can't lie, I'm so excited for boots, chunky sweaters and scarves. For today's look I wanted just that, a chunky sweater and some boots (not quite scarf weather yet). I started out with this super cute, white chunkyvintage  sweater I got from Poshmark. It's so warm and cozy & feels like home. I threw on this black & white stripped tank from H&M underneath.

For my bottoms I wanted something comfortable (as always). I threw on these new hi rise skinny jeans from AEO. Hi rise waist lines were the best things that ever happened t AEO. They're so comfortable and fit perfectly on girls who are a little more bottom heavy. The wash on these jeans are a really nice light wash for fall as well.

Like I said, I'm so excited for boots! For today's look, I wore my new, classic black leather boots from Joe Fresh. Thanks to my mommy, I have THE perfect pair of boots! These go with everything and are (of course) really comfy.

And there you have it. My ootd. What are you wearing?

No work on the weekends

Sweater - LA Hearts for PacSun
Jeans - American Eagle Outfitters
Boots - Steven Madden, Grizzle boot

It's the weekend and I'm so excited! No work, shopping with my mom, movies last night. I love not working on the weekends! Today I'm headed to the MMA gym with the boys so I wanted to wear something cute and comfortable (what's new). I started out with this LA Hearts sweater from PacSun. This sweater is SO soft and comfortable! I love the neutral color and the cut out shoulders make it modern and keep it from looking too casual.

For my bottoms, I, again, wanted something that was both super cute and comfortable.
*Can I just stop right here for a sec and say that no matter how cute your clothes are, if you're not comfortable, it's not cute.*
These boyfit jeans from AEO are the BEST jeans ever. They're a loose fit but aren't baggy, and they have a bunch of cute details like distressing and hidden patchwork. If you're a girly girl looking for some looser fit jeans, these would be perfect for you! You can also roll them up to make them a little more chic, or down for a laid back look.

Since the top half of my outfit is a little more on the casual side, I added my Steven Madden Grizzle boots to dress up the look. These boot are awesome because they can little take any outfit from drab to fab (did I really just say that?) I once wore them with sweats and a tank & it looked great! Haha. They have a low heel, cute cut outs, and silver hardware that make them perfect for literally any occasion. They're also real leather, so after a while they get that distressed look that's just perfect.

To add a pop of color to my outfit, I'm using my vintage hunter green Coach bag. This bag is from the late 80's early 90's so it's just as old as I am. The color is perfect for fall and it holds all my stuff nicely.

So there it is, my ootd for this lovely Saturday. What are you wearing?

Labor Day ... So why am I working?

Top- H&M
Jeans- American Eagle Outfitters
Shoes- Keds
Accessories- Rainbow loom bracelets!

Today is Labor Day; which means nothing to me because I still have to work; but at least I get time and a half (haha). So for today look I wanted something light weight & comfortable because the weather has been so crappy. Think gray skies with massive amounts of humidity with no breeze.
I started out with this super light weight top from H&M. I love that this top has this water color/tie dye thing going on that kind of makes it look like the gloomy gray skies we've been having. The flowy fabric allows for breathability which is perfect for days like today when the humidity can be suffocating.

I'm so tried of shorts I can't even begin to explain it; So although it's pretty hot, I decided to wear jeans. I chose my black stone wash destroyed jeggings from AEO. I love these jeans because they're so soft and comfortable it (almost) feels like you're not wearing pants. The rips in them also allows air to flow through which is good enough for me. I rolled the cuffs up for a more cropped/warm weather look.

As you know, I love to add pops of color, mix prints, color block, etc. So for my footwear of the day I chose my colorful floral Keds. These are a cute twist and the classic shoe. They're really comfortable, perfect for someone who's on their feet all day like me. I also like how they contrast with my gloomy sky top and add a bit of summer to my otherwise monochromatic outfit.

I spent the day with my Dad & my siblings yesterday and my brother and I made a TON of Rainbow Loom bracelets. My sisters friend also made me this super cute complicated one that I could t even begin to tell to the name of. I decided to throw some on today to add some more color. I also have on my friendship bracelet (of course).

And there you have it. My Labor Day ootd. What are you wearing?

A little bit of everything

Top- Vintage (bought off Poshmark)
Short- American Eagle Outfitters
Sneakers- Vans 106 hi (flowers drawn on by me)

The weather has been so on and off lately, I don't even know what to wear anymore; so for today's look I just threw everything on together.

I started off with this light weight, vintage stripped top I bought from Poshmark. I love this top because its more of a cream color as opposed to white. I also love the drapey light weight fabric; makes it perfect for cool summer nights as well as warm fall days. The vertical stripes are very slimming as well.

I love the look of black & white (or cream) stripped shirts with colored pants. For my bottoms today, I chose these wine colored distressed festival shorties from AEO. These shorts are awesome for us big booty Judys with short legs because they're cut longer on front and back, and shorter up the sides giving you the appearance of longer legs while still covering you up (cheeks out is NOT a good look ladies!)

If its not funky, it's not fun, so I wanted to add some fun to my outfit with these hi top Vans 106's. this is a really cute hi top sneaker that doesn't make your feet look bulky or chunky. I drew the yellow & orange sunflowers/daisies on myself. I love the way these look with the wine shorts and how they contrast with the strips on the top. Have fun with your outfits, playing it safe leaves everyone sorry!

And there you have it. My mixy outfit of the day. What are you wearing?

Floral peplums and chucks

Top- American Eagle Outfitters
Jeans- GAP classic straight
Sneakers- Converse All Stars (Chuck Taylor's)

Another gloomy rainy day. I decided for today's look I wanted to wear something that was a little girly and summery. I started out with this cute, sheer, floral print peplum top from AEO. I love this top because of floral & zip back details. It's one of those things that can be dressed up or down and the perfect transition into "girly" attire.

For my bottom, I wanted something really simple and basic; so that the top could be the forerunner of the outfit. I chose my classic straight jeans from the GAP. These are the most comfortable low rise jeans I own. They don't bunch or pinch. The dark blue ink wash is super flattering and goes with literally anything. I just cuff up the hems to make it more warm weather appropriate.

For my footwear of the day, I threw on my trusty blue Converse All Stars. These are one of my favorite pairs of shoes! I've had them since 7th grade! They're super comfortable and great for being on my feet all day. In my eyes they go with everything.

So there you have it; my outfit of the day.
