Sporty Spice

Top & sunnies- H&M
Shorts- Teen Vogue for M Style Lab
Sneaker- Nike blazers

I have to admit that I was wearing a completely different outfit today, that consisted of jeans & a T-shirt; but once I felt how warm it was I decided to throw on some shorts instead. For today's look I wanted something that was sporty chic. The weathers also been a little weird (warm then cool, sunny then cloudy) so I also wanted something weather appropriate. I chose these shorts from Macy's new collaborative line with Teen Vogue called Teen Vogue for M Style Lab. They're a really light weight fabric so they keep me cool & comfortable. They're also really cute because even though they have a sporty vibe, the shine of the fabric and the material give them a chic look. For the top, I wanted something that would keep me warm for when the weather cools down, so I grabbed the light weight sweater from H&M. To complete the look, and to add a pop of color, I threw on my purple Nike blazers, and voila, my sporty chic outfit of the day.

(Wish I would've taken better pictures, I was running late & didn't have time :( sorry!)

Shift dresses and vintage bags make me happy

Dress & studded bracelet- H&M
Sneakers- Vans Authentic
Bag- Vintage Coach bucket bag

The weathers cooler and that makes me happy. I'm wearing a shift dress and that makes me happy. I got a beautiful, hunter green, vintage, Coach bag yesterday and that makes me happy. Today is a very happy day for me, haha. For today's look I wanted something chic & easy going. I chose this shift from H&M.. It's really light weight, flattering, and a perfect length for work. I wanted to add a boyish edge so I paired it with my maroon authentic Vans. For y accessories I kept it simple with my studded leather bracelet from H&M & my friendship bracelet. I also HAD to show case this bag I got from Poshmark! It's a hunter green vintage authentic Coach bucket bag (from the '80s or '90s) and I love it so much! So that's my look for today. What did you guys wear?

Girly Grunge

Dress- Urban Outfitters
Boots- Steve Madden
Studded Bracelet- H&M
Tie dye hair tie- Free People
String friendship bracelet- given to me by a tourist from Brazil

Today's a pretty blah day & I'm off to run some errands. For today's look I wanted to channel a little bit of a girly edgy vibe. I chose this off white flowy dress from Urban Outfitters. This dress is really light weight & has a really flattering cut. It has some floral patterned stitching along the chest & at the seams that gives it that girly feel. I paired the dress with my black leather Grizzle Steve Madden cutout booties. These are good for that girl who loves to wear boots year round (me!!) because the cutouts keep your feet cool. They're also really versatile and have a nice little heel so you can wear them with virtually anything. They gave this look that edgy grungy vibe I was looking for. For my accessories, I kept it minimal as always, with my H&M studded bracelet, a tie dye Free People hair tie, and a friendship bracelet given to me by a Brazilian tourist. Also, curly hair don't care, haha. So that's my look for today guys. What are you wearing today?

I want a beach day :(

Crop top- American Eagle Outfitters
Skirt- Vintage Express
Sandals- Zara

******************************************

Oh how I wish I was going to the beach, or a pool or somewhere cool & relaxing; but alas, off to work I go. For today's outfit, I wanted to wear something fun & playful but of course, still simple. I started with this floral print vintage Express skirt. The flowers on the skirt have maroon in the middle so it was a perfect tie in to this maroon & white stripped crop tee from my job, American Eagle. This outfit by itself is pretty girly so I added my Zara studded fishermans sandals to add to edge to the look. And there you have it, my outfit for today. What are you guys wearing?

It's Friday, it's my day off, & I'm going thrifting!

Knit kimono- Torrid
Tank- Brandy Melville
Bralette- Aerie
Shorts- Cutoffs I made from American Apparel jeans
Boots- Zara
Necklace- Forever21 (I think lol)
Bracelet- Brandy Melville

****************************************

Today's my day off & that means... Thrifting!!! Although I won't be buying today, just going to sell some stuff. For today's look I wanted something laid back, easy & comfy. I grabbed my signature cutoffs (American Apparel) & loose tank (Brandy Melville) & started from there. I always like to wear bralettes as apposed to regular bras for 2 reasons; they look cute poking out of loose drapey tanks & they're SO comfortable! So, I wore my black lace bralette from Aerie. It's going to be a rainy day so I threw on these black Zara boots because they're light & will keep my feet cool & dry. For accessories I kept it nice & simple with my Indian headdress pendant necklace & my skull black suede bracelet. Using a neon yellow scrunchy for a pop of color. To give the look a boho feel (& to keep me warm in the rain & in the ac) I added my knit kimono from Torrid. And that's my outfit of the day for today! What are you guys wearing?

Another Monday, hot day, work day

Overlay tank- Garage
Bustier- American Eagle
Shorts- Vintage Wrangler cutoffs
Sneakers- Keds
Leather bracelets- Liebeskind NYC

****************************************

Hello everyone! Today presents another "make a weather appropriate outfit, work appropriate" challenge. It's been SO hot lately, I really wish I was okay to just skip work, school, whatever and just stay home and relax. But since that's not the way the world works, here I am picking out another outfit that won't suffocate me or get me fired. So here we go... For my top, I wanted to wear something that was light and would let air flow through. I chose this grey knit top from Garage. It's perfect because its a muscle tank so it's work appropriate and it's really sheer and light weight which is perfect for this weather. I had to put something on underneath since its so sheer so I chose this mid-torso bustier from American Eagle. It's white so it won't absorb any heat. For my bottoms I threw on my vintage Wrangler cutoffs since the length is work appropriate and the high waist covers the rest of my exposed stomach. Threw on my floral Keds for a pop of color & comfort and voila! Another weather appropriate outfit made appropriate for work.
What do you guys wear to work in weather like this?
