Get Inspired! Get PASHIONATE! with ReFabished Love by Regina Bella

"Be the change you wish to see in the world." - Ghandi

No matter where you're from, making your community a better place is something we've all wanted to achieve. While some of us only want change and growth, others actually go out there & make it happen. Shuttling around from Philadelphia to New York, I've met a lot of people who are passionate about not only making a change in their communities, but doing so by doing what they love. A friend of mine, Regina Bella, is a prime example of one of those people. After working in the cosmetology field for 7 years, Regina decided to expand her horizons and started taking image consulting classes at The Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.) in NYC. During her time there, she came to find she had a much bigger interest in the creative aspect of fashion and decided to pursue design and styling. With that passion and drive, in 2012, Regina's design and styling company, ReFabished Love was born.

ReFabished Love also has their own clothing line of reconstructed, handcrafted, and customizable clothing. OMG IM BACK!

Can you believe it?! After months of not posting I finally took some time out to take a few pictures to post! I'm sorry I've been gone for so long; new job, new responsibilities & no time for anything! I'm really going to put in some effort to post more often. Forgive me if I'm a little rusty.

So I'm omw out to run some errands and even though it was snowing yesterday, it's actually really nice out! I decided to do a layered outfit today that way I can add or remove anything if it gets too hot/cold.

For my two tops, I chose a graphic tee & a plaid flannel. This lumber jack look is one of my favorites for snowy weather. It just makes me feel comfortable and cozy and like I could go logging or something, haha. For the tee, I chose this StyleMint "no is a full sentence" tee by MaryKate & Ashley Olsen.

This tee is made of pima cotton and is so, so soft! It's also thin & heavy so it drapes really well over the body making it a good option for all body types. It's also heat here's which gives it a textured look.
This flannel is a men's shirt from AEO and it's one of my favorite flannels (I have a lot). It's loose in all the right places without looking like it's too big. It's warm but light weight so it doesn't make me too hot. It stays true to color wash after wash & maintains it's softness.

I am OBSESSED with American Apparels Easy Jean. It is the perfect high waisted pant for every occasion. I wear them to clubs, raves, to the park, the mall, for holidays, literally everywhere. They're so comfortable and flattering and hug in all the places. Seriously if you don't have a pair GO GET ONE NOW! They're a little pricey ($76 or $78 I forget which) but they're well worth it I promise. You can also get them like half off at the outlet. I plan on getting 7 black pairs; one for everyday of the week lol.

For footwear, I wore my neutral with gold flecks Nike Airmaxes. I bought these from a fellow Poshmark user and I'm so happy I did! They go with everything and are so comfortable! I love the gold flecks, they give the otherwise plain sneaker that pop it needs. These will defintely be my go-to sneaker for a lot of occasions. I paired them with my blue tie-dye socks from H&M for a little extra somethin.

I bought this little "cat" earred beanie from a Japanese boutique online and the "cat" ears looked a little more like devil horns so I decided to call it a devil horn beanie instead. Which incidentally suits me just fine ;)

So that's it guys, my first ootd post in FOREVER! Promise not to be away so long again. Happy Sunday ✌️

It's been a while ...

Dress - Urban Outfitters
Belt - Delia's
ocks - H&M
Boots - Steve Madden
Sweater - Vintage (Poshmark)

Hey guys! Wow, so I know it's been quite a while since my last post & I'm so sorry! I've been so busy with work and never have the time to stop and take some pictures but I'm back today & better than ever, haha. Okay so let's get started; today's my little cousin Garrett's birthday so my family and I are driving out to Philadelphia for the occasion. For today's look I wanted to wear something that was fun and edgy. I have to dress in business casual attire for work and I hardly ever get to have fun with my outfits. Today, I chose this blue velvet, long sleeve dress from Urban Outfitters. This dress makes me feel so Rock & Roll! I love the old glamour effect it has. To add to that glam rock vibe, I paired the dress with this cheetah print belt from Delia's.

I realized the other day that I have a really big weakness : SHOES! I love all different styles but what's really been grabbing my attention lately is black short boots. Namely cutout boots. Maybe one day I'll do a post about all my boots but for today's look a threw on a pair of old ones. My Grizzle boots from Steve Madden. I loved these boots over the summer bc the cutouts allowed me to wear them even in warm weather. Now that it's cooler out the cutouts offer something even better; a chance to show off some cute funky socks! For today's look I threw on my 50 shades of blue tie dye socks from H&M. These worked great because they match the dress but still give the outfit some pop because of the tie dye.

(Can't even see the cutouts! 😞)

It's October and so the weather usually stays in the 60's. So to keep warm I threw on this fluffy white vintage sweater I got from Poshmark. It's so cozy and warm it's like wearing a security blanket (lol).

So there it is, my outfit of the day for this beautiful October Saturday. What are you wearing?

Colder weather means chunky sweaters!!

Sweater - Vintage (bought off Poshmark)
Tank - H&M
Jeans - American Eagle Outfitters
Boots - Joe Fresh

(This post has been photo bombed by Marcus Medley)

Fall hasn't even started yet and it's already getting cold out! I can't lie, I'm so excited for boots, chunky sweaters and scarves. For today's look I wanted just that, a chunky sweater and some boots (not quite scarf weather yet). I started out with this super cute, white chunkyvintage  sweater I got from Poshmark. It's so warm and cozy & feels like home. I threw on this black & white stripped tank from H&M underneath.

For my bottoms I wanted something comfortable (as always). I threw on these new hi rise skinny jeans from AEO. Hi rise waist lines were the best things that ever happened t AEO. They're so comfortable and fit perfectly on girls who are a little more bottom heavy. The wash on these jeans are a really nice light wash for fall as well.

Like I said, I'm so excited for boots! For today's look, I wore my new, classic black leather boots from Joe Fresh. Thanks to my mommy, I have THE perfect pair of boots! These go with everything and are (of course) really comfy.

And there you have it. My ootd. What are you wearing?

No work on the weekends

Sweater - LA Hearts for PacSun
Jeans - American Eagle Outfitters
Boots - Steven Madden, Grizzle boot

It's the weekend and I'm so excited! No work, shopping with my mom, movies last night. I love not working on the weekends! Today I'm headed to the MMA gym with the boys so I wanted to wear something cute and comfortable (what's new). I started out with this LA Hearts sweater from PacSun. This sweater is SO soft and comfortable! I love the neutral color and the cut out shoulders make it modern and keep it from looking too casual.

For my bottoms, I, again, wanted something that was both super cute and comfortable.
*Can I just stop right here for a sec and say that no matter how cute your clothes are, if you're not comfortable, it's not cute.*
These boyfit jeans from AEO are the BEST jeans ever. They're a loose fit but aren't baggy, and they have a bunch of cute details like distressing and hidden patchwork. If you're a girly girl looking for some looser fit jeans, these would be perfect for you! You can also roll them up to make them a little more chic, or down for a laid back look.

Since the top half of my outfit is a little more on the casual side, I added my Steven Madden Grizzle boots to dress up the look. These boot are awesome because they can little take any outfit from drab to fab (did I really just say that?) I once wore them with sweats and a tank & it looked great! Haha. They have a low heel, cute cut outs, and silver hardware that make them perfect for literally any occasion. They're also real leather, so after a while they get that distressed look that's just perfect.

To add a pop of color to my outfit, I'm using my vintage hunter green Coach bag. This bag is from the late 80's early 90's so it's just as old as I am. The color is perfect for fall and it holds all my stuff nicely.

So there it is, my ootd for this lovely Saturday. What are you wearing?

It's Saturday and I am ecstatic!

Plaid shirt- GAP (the boyfs shirt :D)
Tank- Urban Outfitters
Jeans- American Eagle Outfitters
Boots- Dr Martens, 1460 vegan boot
Belt & Socks- H&M

Just ended my first week at my new office job and whoo, that was a lot to take in. I survived and now it's time for the weekend! Having to wear "business attire" to work is really cramping my personal style, so I'm so glad I'm able to wear what I want on the weekends.
I started out with my boyfriends plaid shirt from the GAP. I LOVE this shirt, it's so comfortable and cozy & always smells like him. I wanted to mix some prints so I added a camouflage tank underneath.

Oh how I missed wearing jeans. For today's look I wanted something fitted and classic since I'm wearing something loose and kinda funky on top. I went with these vintage wash jeggings from AEO. These are the best jeans ever! They hug in all the right places are are the perfect length. Definitely recommend for any curvy girls looking for good skinny jeans. Paired them with my favorite burgundy belt from H&M.

Boots! It's finally that time of year when boots can be an everyday thing. For today's look I wanted to wear my vegan Docs. I could live in these boots forever. Because they're vegan, they're super soft straight out of the box (so no blisters trying to break them in). They have this candied apple color that literally goes with everything. They make me feel like a badass (haha). I paired them with my favorite ruffle socks from H&M.

And there you have it. My "weekends are the best because I can wear what I want" ootd. What are you wearing?
