"Be the change you wish to see in the world." - Ghandi
No matter where you're from, making your community a better place is something we've all wanted to achieve. While some of us only want change and growth, others actually go out there & make it happen. Shuttling around from Philadelphia to New York, I've met a lot of people who are passionate about not only making a change in their communities, but doing so by doing what they love. A friend of mine, Regina Bella, is a prime example of one of those people. After working in the cosmetology field for 7 years, Regina decided to expand her horizons and started taking image consulting classes at The Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.) in NYC. During her time there, she came to find she had a much bigger interest in the creative aspect of fashion and decided to pursue design and styling. With that passion and drive, in 2012, Regina's design and styling company, ReFabished Love was born.
ReFabished Love is a place where people from all different walks of life, backgrounds, as creeds can come to seek fashion help; whether it be an entire wardrobe update or help with making what you already have work. They help inspire people to feel happy and comfortable with themselves and what they put on. They encourage self love and motivation and appreciate individuality. ReFabished Love also has their own clothing line of reconstructed, handcrafted, and customizable clothing. These items can be seen and bought on ReFabishedLove.com or in boutiques in the Philadelphia area.
Regina and ReFabished Love are active members of her community, inspiring and encouraging people through love and fashion. The ReFabished Love crew are participants in the annual Philadelphia Aids walk and continue to donate their time and efforts to the Committee to Benefit the Children at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia.

As if that isn't enough, Regina and ReFabished Love will also be participating in The INSPIRED & PASHIONATE Networking Show Case this Spring, where local inspirational and motivational designers, speakers, poets, movements and community awareness projects come together to show how they're bringing change and making a difference in their communities. The showcase will be held March 27, 2014 at 7pm. ReFabished Love will be donating a third of the proceeds from ticket sales to the Childrens Benefit Commitee with The Saint Christophers Hospital in Philadelphia. Don't miss out on this opportunity to be one of the people that MAKES the change happen. Come out and support, get motivated and get inspired!
